This innovative academic and cultural program has been designed to provide an immersive exploration of Mexico’s historical, artistic, and traditional richness through a dynamic and multidisciplinary learning experience.

Academic Excellence and Institutional Support

The diploma program is supported by the academic expertise of ITACA Centro Universitario, an institution responsible for the development of the curriculum and the official academic validation and certification of participants.

This partnership ensures that students receive a structured, innovative, and internationally oriented educational experience that combines academic quality with cultural exploration.

Program Structure: A Journey Through Mexican Identity

The diploma program has a duration of six months, organized into monthly modules that can also be taken independently, providing flexibility according to each participant’s interests and learning goals.

Module 1: History and Geography of Mexico (September): A journey through Mexico’s origins, from ancient Indigenous civilizations and pre-Hispanic cultures to the historical processes that shaped contemporary Mexico.

Module 2: Fine Arts in Mexico October
An exploration of Mexico’s artistic legacy, including muralism, literature, and the evolution of traditional and contemporary music.

Module 3: Mexican Traditions and Culture November
A deeper look into Mexico’s worldview, traditions, cultural expressions, rituals, and the significance of Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns) as guardians of heritage and identity.

Living Gastronomy

Participants will experience practical workshops featuring iconic Mexican dishes, including:

• Chiles en Nogada, led by Víctor Ferrat
• Traditional Pan de Muerto, led by Ayesha Ferrat

These experiences explore Mexican cuisine as a living heritage that connects ingredients, traditions, and cultural identity.

Literature and Cultural Dialogue

Reading circles led by Sara Romano will encourage discussion and reflection around important Mexican literary works, including:

• Aura by Carlos Fuentes
• Los recuerdos del porvenir by Elena Garro

Art, Heritage, and Society

Participants will enjoy lectures on Mexican cultural heritage presented by Gabriela Mota Rebollo, as well as photography exhibitions by Carlos Latapí, including:
